This started as a reference folder for a Hyundai job where I was reskinning an arcade. I always pull too many images for reference, but in this case I went crazy. After making the GSA reference book for Troop Zero this turned into a project that lasted well beyond the commercial I originally started it for. Again, shout out to Blurb for making it so easy.
The Golden Age of arcades. More than just the machines - it was a time when the third place still existed. The tokens, neon caves, mirrors and reflective mylar, crazy carpets, rails for quarters, pizza parties, competitions and strategy guides. Whatever limitations the game graphics had at that time was made up for in the surrounding arcade world.
